Carolina’s clinical focus includes sports medicine, orthopedic injury rehabilitation, preventive care for active individuals and recreational athletes, biomechanic customized insole prescription, and recovery techniques. She has more than 10 years of experience in collegiate athletics and previously owned a physical therapy clinic in Brazil. A former collegiate basketball player herself, she brings firsthand understanding of athletic performance, injury, and recovery. Originally from Brazil, Carolina speaks Portuguese and some Spanish.
After years in collegiate athletics, Carolina chose to transition into a role that offered better work life balance and the opportunity to be present for her daughter’s important developmental stages. She returned to the area to spend more quality time with family and friends; swimming, playing, and exploring the outdoors with her daughter; grill, and play pickleball with friends. Carolina is excited to reconnect with the community that once opened doors for her and looks forward to giving back through compassionate, high-quality care.
